BMC has an evolving portfolio of some 300 peer-reviewed journals, sharing discoveries from research communities in science, technology, engineering and medicine. Research journals include selective titles such as BMC Biology, BMC Medicine, Genome Biology, Genome Medicine and BMC Global and Public Health, academic journals such as Journal of Hematology & Oncology, Malaria Journal and Microbiome, and the BMC series, 53 inclusive journals focused on the needs of individual research communities. They also partner with leading institutions and societies to publish journals on their behalf.

BMC Public Health is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on the epidemiology of disease and the understanding of all aspects of public health. The journal has a special focus on the social determinants of health, the environmental, behavioral, and occupational correlates of health and disease, and the impact of health policies, practices and interventions on the community.

Britannica is a fantastic starting point to get a general understanding of a topic.
You will notice that there are 3 options to click from when you first log in.
If you are in Year 7-8 consider starting with the middle level. for Years 9-12 go to the high option.
To access Britannica from home go the the library Canvas page and click on the link Britannica Home Access. If you are prompted for a password these are also on Canvas.
